Airstream 33 Classic FB Twin model year 2023 is for sale in Florida. I keep the travel trailer in Lakeland Florida. This Airstream is priced to sell and get someone into a Luxury travel trailer at an affordable price.. We just do not have time to use it as our travel has changed from needing wheels. We have taken several trips with this unit all logged and verified for milleage and days in camp.
The Airstream Classic 33 is a combination of all the great things Airstream has brought to the travel trailer industry. Please look through the photos of this trailer and my honest assessment of its condition.

Airstream 33 Classic Towing
Easy Towing is a reality with this super sleek travel trailer. Hitch weight is roughly 1100 lbs and the Gross Vehicle weight is 10,000 lbs. I use an F350 as my tow vehicle for this trailer and it is WAY over kill. With that truck I get roughly 13 MpG while towing flat at 75 mph. I would feel very comfortable with a 1500 serries or F150 serries tow vehicle. The brakes on this thing are super smooth and work extremely well slowing the roll of this trailer keeping things safe.
I installed the Pro Pride hitch on this unit. The Pro Pride makes towing even smother with anti sway control and hitch load transfer mitigation. It’s really easy to use after one gets used to it. The hitch and Pro Pride come with the trailer. I tow many large boats with my Key West Fishing charter business and love the Pro Pride Hitch.
The tires on this travel trailer are original. Date code is in the images.
An additional feature to easy towing is the length of this largest version of Airstream made in 2023. 33.3 ft from hitch to the bumper of trailer total. It makes sliding into a camp site a breeze, especially with the use of the backup camera and most trucks are shorter beds than my 8ft bed which I have find to be easy.
The stabilizers work well to keep the trailer secure at camp. The front hitch post is electric and very strong. It’s called a VIP 3500. I have had it covered since it was new.
Airstream Classic Outside
As everyone knows the Airstream has a very unique look that exudes luxury and prestige. The style turns heads at every campground. The design slips through the air when towing. The widows are very nice and hard to see into the travel trailer. The Airstream classic has 4 awnings. The main awning is electric 12 volt and works perfect with some safety features built in. The other awnings are manual and have latches to lock to side of trailer.
Airstream Classic 33 Kitchen
The kitchen of the Airstream 33 Classic is pretty awesome. Spice condiment rack, nice sized refrigerator, utensil storage places for plates (we use mostly paper plates) trash storage and places to store our coffee maker and toaster on the roll. The Norcold fridge runs on 12v so it is always cool when camper is stored, rolling or in camp. It has plenty of room for groceries
Airstream Classic Living Room
The living areas of the Airstream classic 33 has plenty of comfortable seating and dining area. Especially for a travel trailer with out slide outs.
Airstream 33 Classic Bathroom
The extra large bathroom in the Airstream Classic 33 was the feature selling point for me to buy this travel trailer. I am 6ft 6” tall and I find there is plenty of room for my needs. The shower is walk in and pretty high. There are many storage nooks that I hardly use all of. I wish there was one more towel hanger. The towel rack you see over the toilet is heated by the Aldi system and provides warm towels on those cold mornings. I have not seen many travel trailers with a full length mirror, this one has two. I would consider this to be luxury in a 33ft trailer.
Airstream Classic Bedroom
When we were shopping for a bigger Airstream over our 27’ Tommy Bahama the bed was a second consideration for me. The twin beds are longer than the typical queen by 7 inches. The bedroom is super quiet and very sleepy friendly. The forward AC takes care of the cooling and heating. The Aldi system flows around the bedroom like a warm blanket keeping it perfect and cozy with 00 noise..
2 drawer storage under each bed and a closet that keeps things tidy. I put led Puck lights in each shelf to see what’s in there. They are pretty deep.
Charging ports for each bed as well as receptacles to plug in whatever you might need.
A small smart TV is wired into the bedroom cabinet and has a remote.
Lastly a huge storage closet over head is also a great place to store extra pillows, blankets and clothes..
On deep drawer between the beds is super convenient to keep things put away. With a nice top to put things on.
Damage Considerations
These are two unfortunate mishaps that make this Travel Trailer discounted.. seems our landscape folks hit the corner shell on the aluminum and on I75 We hit a “road Gator” (large piece of trucker tire tread) on the highway. We have had Airstream of Tampa give us estimate for repairs. In April 2025.
Complete estimate for both is 10k. We will provide estimate from Airstream of Tampa.
