Bonefishing has been a staple for Florida Keys fishing
since the beginning of sport fishing, Bonefishing helped
put the Florida Keys on the map as the number one sport
fishing destination in the world. Traditionally Key West
has always had bonefish however Key West's reputation
for flats fishing has
generally been about the Permit or the tarpon fishing
that is to be had there. Now it's different. For many
reasons all being good things the bonefish population of
Key West and the Marquesas
Keys has Exploded offering our anglers many shots at
not just a few fish but dozens and sometimes hundreds of
them.
 Found
and caught while flats fishing the bonefish love to be
in super skinny waters. Tailing up the flats looking for
food. They are also found and caught on the shoulders of
the flats as they transverse from one area to the next
making an easy target for an angler with a spinning rod
and a jig.
For years Bonefishing has been about the elite fisherman
especially the fly fisherman. This has not gone away but
we have opened up the elite spot for many more to join
the ranks of an accomplished bonefish angler at all
skill levels fly fishing and light tackle.
Bonefishing charters are usually 4 and 6 hours. 8 hour
trips are also available but the angler should leave
himself open to fish for other species as well during
that day to get a more full filling experience. No more
than two can go on my flats boat but my bay boats can handle as many as 4 per boat. Check out our reservations page and our rates page to see about

Barracuda fishing is great all year
round!
Not good. I cannot take someone's money
to go Bonefishing during these months. They are around
but deep and caught as by catch of other fishing.
Bonefish are found in great number
all over the flats of Key West and the Marquesas Keys.
Easy targets for all skill levels. Fly Fishing and light
tackle fishing a breeze.
Big bonefish are here. Great month
for bonefish with permit and tarpon. Fly fishing
difficulty is raised for smarter older fish but the
little ones are still around.
